The New South Wales Rugby League has released its 2016 NSW Cup draw, with Canberra Raiders feeder club, Mounties, looking to repeat last season’s excellent form.
The opening round of the competition begins on the weekend of March 5-6, with the Mounties kicking off their campaign against powerhouse Penrith. The 25 round competition wraps up on August 27-28, with the finals series following.

The Mounties finished 2015 as minor premiers, before bowing out in the preliminary finals to eventual premiers, Newcastle. They will look to improve on this in 2016 as they chase the NSW Cup premiership.
