The Canberra Raiders will look to make it three wins on the trot for the first time this season on Friday night against Manly-Warringah.

We’ve put together a list of five things we can’t wait to see as the Green Machine look to knock over the dangerous Sea Eagles.

What do you think? Is there anything else you can’t wait to see this weekend? Head over to our Facebook page and let us know!

Three in a row first time in over a year

The Raiders enter Friday night’s clash at GIO Stadium looking to secure their third win in as many games for the first time this season.

Whilst technically the Green Machine won four in a row by finishing 2015 with two straight victories, and kicking off this season with another two Ws, this could be the first time the Raiders have won three straight games inside a season in over a year.

The last time Canberra won three in a row? A dominant 56-16 victory over the Gold Coast Titans at GIO Stadium. Let’s hope lightning strikes twice on Friday night.

Friday night lights

This week marks the first time the Raiders have hosted a Friday night game in 2016, with the four light towers set to beam down on the GIO Stadium turf.

The ground won’t be the only thing lit up this Friday night, with an amazing Raiders-themed light display set to greet supporters as they make their way into the ground! Check out @RaidersCanberra on Twitter for a sneak preview!

Lee for Lee

Brenko Lee makes his return to the top-grade side after Edrick Lee was injured in the process of scoring a stunning try against the Bulldogs.

A string of fantastic performances for Mounties in the Intrust Super Premiership has granted the powerful outside back a chance to prove his worth. Lee has crossed for five tries in his eight NRL appearances, and Raiders fans will be hoping for more of the same from the exciting 20-year-old.

Raiders’ revenge

Canberra’s last meeting with Manly-Warringah at GIO Stadium saw a controversial decision end the Raiders’ hopes of a 2015 semi-final berth.

Currently sitting seventh, Friday’s match could see the Raiders move to within one point of the top four, and move five points clear of the twelfth-placed Sea Eagles.

Brett’s boys look to go back-to-back

Sunday’s stunning victory over the Bulldogs has Brett White’s NYC team looking for back-to-back wins for the first time in almost two months.

A try at the death secured Canberra’s youngsters their first win since Round 5, and they will be hoping for more of the same come Friday night. Currently five points out of the top eight, this week’s clash is shaping up as a big opportunity for the Raiders to keep in touch with the top eight.
