1 Raffle Name

Canberra Raiders Foundation 2024 Christmas Raffle

2 Promoter

The Raiders Foundation 2024 Christmas Raffle will be conducted by Canberra District Rugby League Football Club Limited (ABN 56 008 568 634) of 164 Monaro Street, Queanbeyan NSW 2620. The benefiting organisation is Canberra District Rugby League Football Club Limited, a not-for-profit organisation.

5 Raffle Period

The Promotion starts at 9am AEDT on Thursday 7 November 2024. The Promotion closes at 12.00pm AEDT on Thursday, 19 December 2024. No entries will be accepted after this time.

6 Raffle Website

The Raffle Website will be accessible from https://www.raffletix.com.au/?ref=sxsg6

7 Maximum Number of Tickets

6,000 tickets available for purchase at $5.00 each, 5 tickets for $20, 10 tickets for $35, 15 tickets for $45 or 40 tickets for $100. The Raffle will close at end of the Promotion Period or when all tickets are sold.

8 Maximum Number of Entries

No maximum applies. Participants may purchase as many tickets as they like while the Raffle remains open, and tickets are available.

9 Entry Restrictions

Entry is open to residents of NSW, QLD and ACT aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle.
Directors, management, employees, contactors (or members of their immediate family) of the Raiders Trading Group and related entities, including but not limited to Canberra District Rugby League Football Club, Canberra Raiders Pty Ltd, Queanbeyan Leagues Club or any of the Promoter’s agents, including RaffleTix, directly involved in the organisation of the Raffle (as determined by the Promoter) are not eligible to enter.
“Immediate family” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether by natural or by adoption), grand child or step-grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or first cousin.

10 Verification Requirements

If requested by the Promoter, Participants must produce proof of age and residency prior to being awarded a Prize.

11 Draw Details

Draw will take place at 12.30pm AEDT on Thursday, 19 December 2024 at 14 Torrens Street, Braddon ACT 2612. The draw will be conducted by Canberra District Rugby League Football Club Limited, the Promoter of the raffle.
Draw method: Raffle Tickets will be drawn at random via an electronic draw through the RaffleTix platform. First prize will be drawn first followed by all other prizing in descending order.

12 Prize Details

1st Prize: Club Lime 12 Month Multi Club Membership. A Multi Club level membership entitles the winner access to all current Club Lime facilities and locations across Australia, including 24-hour clubs where applicable (Prize Value $1450)
2nd Prize: 4 tickets to the Legends Lounge for the first home game at GIO Stadium in season 2025 (Prize Value $1080)
3rd Prize: Canberra Raiders 1994 Premiers Team Official Signed Jersey Framed (Prize Value $995)
4th Prize: Canberra Raiders 2024 Official Signed Jersey Framed (Prize Value $650)

Prize values are accurate as at the commencement date for the Raffle. All costs, fees, charges, or expenses associated with the Prize(s), which are not specified, are the responsibility of the Winner(s).
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter will substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value (at the Promoter’s absolute discretion), subject to regulatory approval.

13 Total Prize Pool

Up to $9,289 (incl. GST).

14 Notification and Publication of Winners

Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within four (4) business days of being drawn (by Tuesday 24 December 2024). Prize Winners’ names will be published on the Raffle Website and the Canberra Raiders website, www.raiders.com.au.

15 Prize Claim Date

Winners have twelve (12) months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize. Unless the winner is from the ACT. If the winner resides in the ACT and they do not claim their prize by midnight on Monday, 20 January 2025 a redraw/unclaimed prize draw will be held in the same manner as the original draw at 3pm AEST on Tuesday, 21 January 2025, at 14 Torrens St, Braddon ACT 2612. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date, they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Winners are to contact the Promoter in order to claim their prize. If you are a Winner, you are responsible for your use of the Prize, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions of use.

16 Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

If a Prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date or is deemed invalid in accordance with the Entry Restrictions, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Proceeds from such sale will be paid to the Promoter to be used for not-for-profit purposes. 

17 Additional Terms – Privacy 

The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners reserve the right to send marketing communications to any entrant that opts-in to receive communications from the Promoter and its authorised marketing partners. The entrant can advise the Promoter at any time if they no longer wish to receive this information, by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at privacy@raiders.com.au. The Promoter and its authorised marketing partners may continue to send communications to the entrant for an indefinite period unless and until advised otherwise by the entrant.
