Score Raiders
In partnership with the Disability Trust, the Score Raiders program is for those with a disability who want to get involved and play rugby league.
The Score Raiders play modified Rugby League rules with two-handed touch. Participants meet weekly for an afternoon training session to learn the skills and fundamentals of touch football. The program works on coordination and team work in a fun and supportive environment.
CRRL believes rugby league is a sport for all, and can be played in many forms to be all-inclusive for everyone.
There are currently about 30 participants involved in the Score Raiders program.
The Score Raiders play against other teams throughout the year, including the Score Dragons from the St. George-Illawarra region. The two sides have played in several curtain raiser games before NRL fixtures at GIO Stadium, Canberra and WIN Stadium, Wollongong.
*Once confirmed, the Score Raiders draw will be presented here.*
Canberra Raiders respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
