Tickets are now on sale for the first eight home matches of the Raiders 2014 season at GIO Stadium Canberra, with the club reminding their loyal supporters that club membership is still the most affordable way to see the Raiders play this season.
Raiders membership packages are available through www.weareraiders.com.au starting at just $8*per game for the entire 12 matches of the 2014 season.
The Canberra Raiders are rapidly improving on their membership numbers ahead of the season and have just ticked over 6300 members for 2014, up from 4,541 on January 23. So far in 2014 over 150,000 people have signed up for club membership across the NRL.
The Raiders have reserved all of the seating in bays 54, 55 and 69 for people still looking to sign up for membership, with only 2014 members having access to these premium seating bays. Tickets purchased to individual matches will be best remaining seating at GIO Stadium Canberra.
Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the Raiders are looking for big crowds at GIO Stadium Canberra in 2014, and said membership is the best and most affordable option to get behind the Raiders this season.
“We’ve overhauled our membership packages in 2014 to provide a bigger range and more affordable options for Raiders membership and it’s definitely the best way to support the club and save money on admission to Raiders home matches,” Furner said. “The traits of the Raiders family include pride, support and belonging. We don’t just need fans we need members.
“The first home game on March 23 at GIO Stadium Canberra will be members recognition round, with members who sign up before the end of this month having the opportunity to have their name on a huge honour roll at this game.
“This is just the start of a whole new experience for our members in 2014, with numerous new experiences and opportunities planned for members only.”
