Canberra Raiders halfback Sam Williams has received scan results for an injury sustained on Friday night against the Knights at GIO Stadium.

Williams will miss 5-6 weeks of action after scan results revealed a partial tear to his pectoral muscle. 

Jordan Rapana made a successful return from an ankle injury in Friday nights win.

Jack Ahearn and Kyle O'Donnell used the Mounties bye this weekend to ensure they are ready to return next weekend. 

Joel Edwards has resumed running in a bid to return in the next few weeks.

 

NAME: Sam Williams

INJURY: Pectoral

DUE BACK: Rd 23-24

NOTE: Scan results have revealed a partial tear to a pectoral muscle.

 

NAME: Jack Ahearn

INJURY: Quad

DUE BACK: Rd 19

NOTE: Will be assessed weekly after reinjuring his quad. 

 

NAME: Kyle O'Donnell

INJURY: Shoulder

DUE BACK: Rd 19

NOTE: O'Donnell has a grade on AC joint issue in his shoulder 

 

NAME: Joel Edwards

INJURY: Toe

DUE BACK: Indefinite

NOTE: Edwards has commenced running and is hopefull of a return in the next few weeks.
