The Canberra Raiders have named their team for Monday Night’s match against the Wests Tigers at GIO Stadium.
Sia Soliola has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2015 season with a cheekbone injury, with the tough Raiders forward scheduled for surgery on the injury tomorrow. The loss of Soliola sees Jarrad Kennedy elevated to the starting side, with inform Mounties forward Mitch Barnett set to make his NRL debut from the bench this weekend.
Barnett was the 2014 player of the year for the Raiders NYC team and has had a wonderful season for Mounties in the NSW Cup.
Josh Hodgson also faces 1-2 weeks on the sideline with an ankle injury, which sees Glen Buttriss recalled into the Raiders team at hooker, with Kurt Baptiste remaining on the interchange bench.
The Raiders have lost Edrick Lee through suspension this week, but welcome back Sisa Waqa who has been cleared to return from a knee injury.
