The Raiders will return to GIO Stadium this Saturday looking to snap a two-game losing streak against a dangerous Wests Tigers outfit.

Heroes of yesteryear
This Saturday will mark a special day for the club, with a number of Raiders legends converging on GIO Stadium for a reunion.
Today’s players will draw inspiration from seeing their past heroes, the same names that delivered the club three premierships from 1989 to 1994.
Fans will have the chance to see the players at halftime when some of them participate in a lap of honour. Raiders members will also be able to meet and greet the past players following the game.

Lethal right edge
Jordan Rapana and Joey Leilua led the way for the rest of the side on Sunday against the Sharks, registering astonishing numbers on a tough day out.
Rapana’s form saw him rewarded with selection in the NRL Team of the Week, as he ran for 173m and registered one try, one try assist, seven tackle busts, two linebreaks and one offload.
Leilua had one of his best performances in the lime green jersey, racking up one try assist, five tackle busts, three offloads and one linebreak assist.
Wighton vs Tedesco
The two fullbacks come together just weeks out from the representative round, where they have clashed twice as opponents in the City vs Country fixture.
Tedesco has established himself as one of the premier fullbacks in the competition, with the reliable Wighton looking to prove himself as a representative candidate.
On both occasions, Wighton’s Country outfit has come up trumps, and Raiders fans will be hoping the same happens this weekend.

When the two sides met at GIO Stadium last time around, the visitors stole a two-point victory. This weekend, the home side will be greeted by grand final heroes of 1989 – one of the tightest, and most exciting, grand finals in history – as they search for revenge. You couldn’t script it any better.
This weekend’s clash has all the makings of a genuine thriller. With the hosts riding a two-match losing streak meeting a Tigers’ side winless since Round 2, a tight contest is sure to excite.

The Raiders NYC side will look to bounce back from two straight losses when they take the field against the in-form Tigers.
