Tyler Stevens from Queanbeyan Blues and Tim Sloman from West Belconnen Warriors spoke to Raiders TV ahead of their first v second match-up on Saturday.
The Warriors have surprised themselves with a stronger than expected start to the season, and will be looking to carry their strong form into the eagerly anticipated match against the Blues. Yet to lose this season, the match on Saturday looms as the biggest test for the Blues so far this season.
Sitting nicely in third place on the ladder, the Gungahlin Bulls are aiming for their fifth win on the trot when they take on the Yass Magpies at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval. The Magpies are searching for their second win of the season and are facing a daunting task to achieve this against the Bulls.
Both situated towards the bottom of the ladder, that clash between the Belconnen United Sharks and Goulburn Workers Bulldogs is crucial for both teams searching for confidence and form. The final match of the round sees the Queanbeyan Kangaroos take on the Woden Valley Rams in what should be a tight tussle at Seears Workwear Oval.
