Read the latest Raiders Injury Update thanks to Austbrokers Canberra. 

Joey Leilua (Knee) and Josh Papalii have been cleared of any serious injury and will be named to take the field against the Tigers this weekend at GIO Stadium. 

Canberra Raiders forward Joe Tapine has undergone surgery to repair a fracture in his finger. Tapine is expected to return between rounds 6-7. 

Jarrod Croker is back running and is making good progress on his knee injury.

Kato Ottio remains in the rehab group, but has made excellent progress and is taking part in all conditioning sessions. He is gradually starting contact training.  

Kurt Baptiste, who ruptured his left achilles during a conditioning session late in 2016, is training in the gym, but it is not yet known when he will be right to return.

 

NAME: Joe Tapine

INJURY: Finger

DUE BACK: Round 6-7

NOTE: Tapine has undergone surgery on a fractured finger and will miss 4-5 weeks

 

NAME: Jarrod Croker

INJURY: Knee

DUE BACK: Round 4-5

NOTE: Croker dislocated his left knee while playing for the World All Stars against the Indigenous All Stars. 

 

NAME: Kurt Baptiste

INJURY: Achillies

DUE BACK: Indefinite

NOTE: Baptiste ruptured his achilles at training late in 2016 and has undergone surgery. He is currently taking part in gym training. A recovery time is not yet known.

 

NAME: Kato Ottio 

INJURY: ACL

DUE BACK: Round 10-12

NOTE: Ottio ruptured his ACL during the Mounties qualifying final win over the Newtown Jets in 2016. He has undergone surgery and is close to making a return to full training.
