Josh Hodgson shared his thoughts on the match after the Raiders epic golden point win over the Dragons on Friday night.

The England international made his return to the side after a leg injury kept him out of the Green Machine's rd 18 loss to the Cowboys over a fotnight ago.

"We've had a lot of close games this season which haven't gone our way, I think it's a massive confidence booster for us to get that win," Hodgson said.

"It was a scrappy game but we kept hanging in there and we're just glad we got the two points because we can build on this."

"It was great to see Dave Taylor flick the ball out for Elliot Whitehead who is always lurking in the right areas. We won't get carried away with the result.

"We will keep working on getting our plays right but the win for us is a real confidence booster."
