Elliott Whitehead is looking to get straight back to work as he enters training for the 2018 season.

Whitehead earned an extended break due to his commitments with the England Rugby League team at last year's World Cup.

The versatile forward spoke to the media at Raiders HQ on his return to training whilst reflecting on the 2017 season.

"It's good to get back into training again with the boys and get my body back into shape," Whitehead said.

"It was disappointing with the way we played last season and I sat down and reflected on that before I went into camp with the England team."

"Hopefully we can learn a lot from our previous mistakes and have a great year in 2018."
