Injury Update: Round 2

The Raiders sustained two injuries in their 30-28 loss to the Newcastle Knights in Round two.

Joey Leilua sustained an ankle injury early in the first half and did not return to the field, while Charlie Gubb left the field late in the match with a groin injury.

Both players have received results from scans, with Joey Leilua named to face the Warriors this weekend. Leilua's scan showed no structural damage and he'll be given every chance to play this weekend.

Unfortunately, the news isn't as good for Gubb, with the former Warrior set to miss a few weeks with a groin injury.

Joe Tapine continues to recover from his dislocated thumb. He's been named on an extended bench this weekend but remains in doubt to come back into the team Saturday.
