CRRL Round
The Raiders will use round five at GIO Stadium to promote all things local rugby league. The curtain raiser for the match will be the opening match of the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup season with the Queanbeyan Blues Taking on the Yass Magpies from 5.30pm.
At halftime this weekend we’ll have the annual CRRL Junior relay race, with 10 local rugby league clubs represented from under 6’s through until under 16’s. The winning club will receive a $500 Gift voucher from Hart Sport, a $300 voucher for second and a $200 voucher for third.

Match Day Charity
Our Match Day Charity this week is the Hartley Lifecare. Please visit their stalls in both forecourts. They will be running a raffle to win a treat hamper and will also have a competition to promote the Hartley Cycle Challenge.
Two Stationary bikes will be positioned in the West Forecourt. The person who cycles the farthest in one minute will win a signed Raiders jersey amongst other prizes!
Viking Clap
The Viking Clap is back in 2018! Make sure you are in your seats as the team gets ready to run on and be part of the Viking Clap.
This weeks Viking Ambassador is Aussie Rock Legend Les Gock who was part of the famous band Hush. Even more exciting for Raiders fans was Gock was the man who produced the Mighty Green Machine song. Les and his band ‘Drive’ will be performing Pre-Game. Les will also lead the Viking Clap Ceremony as the Viking Ambassador!

Austbrokers Spin and Win
During the first 10 home games of the season, Austbrokers Canberra will be giving members the chance to win $50,000! Each week a member will be selected to spin the wheel and win. In 2018 there has been changes to the wheel, with every spinner taking home cash each week!

Austbrokers Canberra Half-Time Cash Competition
From 30 minutes before kick-off each week for the first 10 home games, 100 green Austbrokers Canberra/ Raiders T-Shirts will be distributed at random around the grounds. At the pre-game show 20 minutes before kick-off, 6 lucky attendees wearing their Austbrokers Canberra/ Raiders green shirt will be picked from the crowd.
The 6 chosen participants will take place in a non-physical half-time challenge on-field until one person remains. The remaining participant will then select 1 football out of a total of 30 numbered balls of field. This number is then cross-referenced with the winning cash amount card to determine how much the participant wins.

Pre/Half-Time Entertainment
Gates open at 5.20pm this week with two live matches. First up is the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup opener between the Queanbeyan Blues and Yass Magpies.
Make sure you stop by the forecourt pre-game and check out the Harrison School Band, who will be performing pre-game, while Ryan Tredinnick will be performing in the East Members lounge.
Creator of “The Mighty Green Machine” Les Gock will performing pre-game with his band Drive and will belt out the famous Raiders tune.
We will also have this week’s local Dance School performance, with Legs Dance Studio performing.
Mini Footy is back thanks to Huawei, with local participants taking part in on-field action.
Cam and Ben will then take you through all of the game day news and updates thanks to Channel Nine Canberra before kick-off., including an interview with Les Gock.
In 2018 we have a brand-new competition in the Coca-Cola Sing to Win, where all you have to do is hold a Coca-Cola product like a microphone and sing along to the song booming around the Stadium. Each winner receives a $250 Raiders Shop voucher.
At halftime this week we’ll have the Canberra Region Rugby League relay race, the Austbrokers Canberra Match Day Cash Giveaway and The Duxton Dance Cam, where you could win $100 voucher for the Duxton in O’Connor.

Post-Match Canberra Milk Footy’s
Each home game in 2018 local players from the Canberra Region Rugby League will meet Raiders NRL players post-match on the field of play.
They will present each player with two Canberra Milk mini-footys which the player will sign. One footy goes to the junior player and one will be thrown into the crowd by the Raiders player to thank members and fans for their attendance.

Food and beverage outlets will be open around the ground from gates open.

Merchandise
There will be three merchandise outlets at GIO Stadium on Thursday, full of the latest Raiders merchandise to show your support for the team! The outlets are located in the East and West forecourts, and also in the Southern Inner Bowl.
All outlets will open from Gates Open.

Public transport will be the best and easiest option to travel to and from GIO Stadium on Gameday.

Parking
There are 2 main entry points for the Stadium. Public car parking is available at a number of locations around GIO Stadium Canberra’s precinct.
Car parking is available at a cost of $10.00 (GST incl) per car however fans can take advantage of the new ‘Early Bird Parking Offer’. Fans who get in early and arrive within 45 minutes after the gates open on match days will pay a reduced parking fee of $7.

Please visit the membership marquees at the Western Entry to GIO Stadium to purchase your 2018 memberships on game day. Memberships are also available from the East Box Office.
All membership enquiries can be made at either the East and West ticket boxes or the West membership marquee.
Membership Ticketing Replacement:
All members who have misplaced/lost their membership card can visit the Membership/Ticket Collection window located at the West Gate. Proof of identification will be needed to print off replacement tickets for the day.
