Match Day Charity

Our Match Day Charity this week is the Kulture Break a local dance school who run educational programs to help underprivileged children. Please visit their stalls in both forecourts. They will be selling raffle tickets and will have a group of performers in the Western Forecourt Pre-Game. You can hear from charity founder Francis Owusu as part of the pre-game show with Cam and Ben.

Mudgee Promotion Activity

In the lead up to the Raiders v Dragons game in Mudgee on Sunday May 20th, representatives from the Mid-Western Regional Council will be promoting the region of Mudgee at a station in the West Forecourt. In an effort to entice members and fans to purchase tickets to attend the Mudgee game, there will be a virtual reality (VR) engagement activity for people to see Mudgee in VR.

Viking Clap

The Viking Clap is back in 2018! Make sure you are in your seats as the team gets ready to run on and be part of the Viking Clap.

Our Viking Ambassador this week is Raider #97 Bradley Clyde! The two-time premiership player and two-time Clive Churchill medalist will bring the team onto the field on Saturday night!

Austbrokers Spin and Win

During the first 10 home games of the season, Austbrokers Canberra will be giving members the chance to win $50,000! Each week a member will be selected to spin the wheel and win. In 2018 there has been changes to the wheel, with every spinner taking home cash each week!

Austbrokers Canberra Half-Time Cash Competition

Each week for the first 10 home games, 100 green Austbrokers Canberra/ Raiders T-Shirts will be distributed at random around the ground. At the pre-game show 20 minutes before kick-off, 6 lucky attendees wearing their Austbrokers Canberra/ Raiders green shirt will be picked from the crowd.

The 6 chosen participants will take place in a non-physical half-time challenge on-field until one person remains. The remaining participant will then select 1 football out of a total of 30 numbered balls of field. This number is then cross-referenced with the winning cash amount card to determine how much the participant wins.

Pre/Half-Time Entertainment

Gates open at 5.00pm this week with two live matches, commencing with the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup between Goulburn and Gungahlin at 5.15pm.

Match Day Charity Kulture Break will be performing in the West Forecourt. Mini Footy will take place thanks to Huawei, with Eden Dance Academy bringing you one of the Local Dance School performances pre-game.

Cam and Ben will be on-field pre-game with an interview with Viking Ambassador Bradley Clyde and will bring you all the latest team news ahead of the NRL match.

Be in your seat pre-game to enter the Coca-Cola Sing to Win promotion, where all you have to do is hold a Coca-Cola product like a microphone and sing along to the song booming around the Stadium. Each winner receives a $250 Raiders Shop voucher.

We will have the Viking Horn Ceremony pre-game with our Viking Ambassador Bradley Clyde before we roll into the Viking Clap.

At Halftime this week Match Day Sponsor VB will have the VB Hard Earned Catch for Cash, where selected club members will have the opportunity to catch footy’s from the bomb machine to win a fantastic prize thanks to VB.

Fresh Funk will perform at halftime as part of the Local Dance School performances.

Man of the Match

This season fans at GIO Stadium will have the opportunity to vote on the man of the match each week.

Post-Match Canberra Milk Footy’s

Each home game in 2018 local players from the Canberra Region Rugby League will meet Raiders NRL players post-match on the field of play.

They will present each player with two Canberra Milk mini-footy’s which the player will sign. One footy goes to the junior player and one will be thrown into the crowd by the Raiders player to thank members and fans for their attendance.

Food and Beverage

Food and beverage outlets will be open around the ground at varying times from gates open.

Don't forget, Raiders members receive 10% off food at GIO Stadium thanks to GEMA Catering.

Merchandise

There will be three merchandise outlets at GIO Stadium on Saturday, full of the latest Raiders merchandise to show your support for the team! The outlets are located in the East and West forecourts, and also in the Southern Inner Bowl.

The West Forecourt Merchandise outlet will be open at Gates open, with the East and South outlets open later in the afternoon.

Getting to GIO Stadium

Public transport will be the best and easiest option to travel to and from GIO Stadium on Gameday.

Parking

There are 2 main entry points for the Stadium. Public car parking is available at a number of locations around GIO Stadium Canberra’s precinct. Car parking is available at a cost of $10.00 (GST incl) per car however fans can take advantage of the new ‘Early Bird Parking Offer’. Fans who get in early and arrive within the first 45 minutes after the gates have opened on match days will pay a reduced parking fee of $7.

Please visit the membership marquees at the Western Entry to GIO Stadium to purchase your 2018 memberships on game day. Memberships are also available from the East Box Office.

All membership inquiries can be made at either the East and West ticket boxes or the West membership marquee.

Membership Ticketing Replacement:

All members who have misplaced/lost their membership card can visit the Membership/Ticket Collection window located at the West Gate. Proof of identification will be needed to print off replacement tickets for the day.
