Match of the Round
West Belconnen Warriors vs Yass Magpies- 3pm, Sunday 20 May- Raiders Belconnen / Live Stream
The undefeated West Belconnen Warriors face the Yass Magpies this week as they look for their sixth straight win.
The Warriors kept their winning streak alive last week with a 26-12 win over the Goulburn Workers Bulldogs despite having three players back up from playing in the Country Championships the day before.
The Magpies are coming off a bye and sit just a win outside of the top four. This is despite having lost their previous two matches.
Tuggeranong Bushrangers vs Gungahlin Bulls- 3pm, Sunday 20 May- Greenway
After bouncing back from their first loss of the season with a comfortable win over the last-placed Sharks, the Bushrangers will be hoping to secure their fifth win of the season this Sunday.
They come up against the Gungahlin Bulls who have the leakiest defence in the competition.
The Bulls missed an opportunity last week against the Woden Valley Rams to build on their one win so far this season and they face a much tougher challenge against the Bushrangers at Greenway.
Queanbeyan Kangaroos vs Belconnen United Sharks- 3pm, Sunday 20 May- Seears Workwear Oval
The Queanbeyan Kangaroos will be hoping to bounce back from last weekend's loss in the Queanbeyan derby with a win against the Belconnen United Sharks.
Despite being outclassed by the Blues last week, the Kangaroos remain in the top four and will be hoping to remain there at the end of Round 7.
After going down to the Bushrangers last week, the Sharks are still searching for their first win of the season but face arguably one of the toughest sides in the competition.
Goulburn Workers Bulldogs vs Queanbeyan Blues- 3pm, Sunday 20 May- Workers Arena
The Queanbeyan Blues enter the round in second position after beating rivals, the Kangaroos, in the Queanbeyan derby last week.
The Blues have been the highest scoring team so far and their ruthless attack was again on display last weekend through Terry Campese's three first half try assists and Tyler Stevens' hattrick.
The Goulburn Workers Bulldogs, on the other hand, have struggled in recent weeks and will be looking to break a three game losing streak.
The Bulldogs were good in patches against the top of the table Warriors last weekend but will need to raise their level of performance if they are to claim the two points.
