About GIVIT

GIVIT is a national not-for-profit organisation matching public generosity with genuine need. GIVIT works to alleviate poverty in Canberra by ensuring every charity has the items needed for the people they support. Through GIVIT.org.au, local charities are supported as they request essential, quality items on behalf of their clients. GIVIT then matches these requests with items donated by the community, ensuring our most vulnerable residents receive exactly what they need, when they need it the most. GIVIT.org.au | Instagram

How to Donate

Donate your quality pre-loved items to a fellow Canberran in need, via GIVIT.org.au. A donated mattress could mean a child no longer sleeps on the floor, or a donated bike could mean a refugee mother can now get to appointments.

There’s 3 ways to give:
1. Visit givit.org.au/items-needed and search for items needed in ACT
2. If you have an item but it’s not on the ACT list, pledge it at givit.org.au/give-items

3. No items to donate? Make a cash donation at givit.org.au/donate-funds. 100% of your donation will go to purchasing urgently needed items
Experience the joy of giving!
