The Goulburn Workers Bulldogs and the Woden Valley Rams will take to the field in the Round 14 Match of the Round.

Goulburn Workers Bulldogs v Woden Valley Rams

The Goulburn Workers Bulldogs will be hoping to keep the pressure on the top of the table as they host the Woden Valley Rams.

The Bulldogs head into the match full of confidence after dispatching the Warriors 56-16, a game which saw Steven Cummins notch a hattrick and Tyler Cornish a double on his return.

Bulldogs coach Adam Kyle will be expecting a “tough match” against the Rams, but is thankful for the re-uniting of the Cornish brothers.

“To get Tyler back after 13 weeks was really special, you could see Mitch and Nick really pick up their game having him around, which was really special,” said Kyle.

The Rams will be looking to keep their top four hopes alive, after going down last week to league leaders the Bushrangers 28-6.

Rams halfback Mitch Souter believes that this weekend’s match will be a “must win” game to keep their finals hopes alive.

“This will make or break our season… we’re looking to push back into the top four so this game is a must win,” said Souter.

Tuggeranong Bushrangers v Belconnen United Sharks

The Tuggeranong Bushrangers will be looking to widen the gap at the top of the table when they play the Belconnen United Sharks in Round 14.

The Bushrangers come into the clash full of confidence after defeating the Rams 28-6 in the Southside Showdown to cement their place atop the CRC Ladder.

The Sharks will be looking to remain in contact with the top four after defeating the Magpies 38-0 in a dominant performance last weekend.

The Sharks sit in seventh on 12 points, with a win in Round 14 possibly sparking a run towards finals football.

Gungahlin Bulls v Yass Magpies

The Gungahlin Bulls will be looking to bounce back after last weekend’s loss when they play the last-placed Yass Magpies.

The Bulls suffered a 14-point loss last weekend to the Blues, and will need to win all remaining matches if they have a chance of making finals.

The Magpies will look to get off the bottom of the ladder, however lost last weekend 38-0 against the Sharks.

A win against the Bulls will lift the Magpies off the bottom of the ladder for the first time since Round 4.

West Belconnen Warriors v Queanbeyan Kangaroos

The West Belconnen Warriors will be looking to keep their top four hopes alive when they play the Queanbeyan Kangaroos this weekend.

The Warriors sit in sixth, just three points outside the top four, and will hope to bounce back after last weekend’s 40-point loss to the Bulldogs.

The Kangaroos come into the match off the back of a bye, aiming to cement their place in the top four with only five rounds to go.

The Kangaroos sit in fourth with 17 points, a win could possibly see them jump to third place if results do go their way.
