Coming to the Grand Final this Sunday? Here is all the information you need to know!

Grand final day schedule - Sunday, October 6 at ANZ Stadium

12pm: The area around ANZ Stadium, known as the Precinct, will be transformed into a family-friendly zone featuring merchandise outlets, food stalls, skills station and mascots. The Grand Final Precinct will be free to everyone visiting Sydney Olympic Park on Grand Final Day so arrive early and spend the day with us.

1:15pm: Gates open

1:35pm: NRL State Championship - Newtown Jets v Burleigh Bears

4:05pm: NRL Holden Women’s Premiership Grand Final - Brisbane Broncos v St George Illawarra Dragons

6:30pm: Retiring and departing players class of 2019 tributed on field, followed by a pre-match show featuring an exclusive performance from world-renowned OneRepublic.

7:30pm: 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final

Traffic and Transport

With thousands of Raiders fans travelling from Canberra to Sydney on Sunday for the NRL Grand Final traffic is expected to be heavier than normal on the Hume Hwy, Federal Hwy and M5 Mwy so allow plenty of extra travel time. Parking at Sydney Olympic Park will be in high demand so secure a space by pre-booking online (available until 11:59pm the night before). 


Raiders fans travelling from Canberra on the day are encouraged to arrive early and soak up the pre-game atmosphere. Make a day of it with the Grand Final precinct outside the stadium opening from as early as 12pm followed by preliminary games and entertainment inside the stadium from 1:35pm.

Murrays Coaches operate an hourly service from Canberra to Sydney (Central Station) with extra services running for Raiders fans – make sure to book a space. NSW TrainLink Xplorer trains run between Canberra and Sydney, spaces are limited so book ahead.

From Central connect with express trains running to Olympic Park every 10 to 15 minutes from around 12.30pm. The trip takes about 25 minutes. Return express trains will also run after full time.

Travel on public transport including trains, metro, buses, major event buses, ferries and light rail services is covered by your ticket to the game (excluding NSW TrainLink services and coach services).
