It was a mixed weekend for the Canberra Raiders Junior Rep sides.
S.G. Ball Cup
The Raiders S.G. Ball side returned to winning ways as they claimed a four point win over the Cronulla Sharks.
Brown Kuresa scored the match winner for Raiders while Wilson Hamblin, Livai Kaloutolu and Zane Thomson also scored tries during the match.
With the season passing the halfway mark, the Raiders are currently sitting in fourth place with four wins and a loss.
Harold Matthews Cup
The Raiders Harold Matthews Cup side were beaten 40-28 by the Cronulla Sharks over the weekend.
Samuel Gash, Jacob Haeata, Blake Metcalfe, Kaden Williams and Taulauniuotagoloa Mariota all scored tries for the Raiders but the Sharks scored eight tries of their own.
The loss marked the first defeat the Raiders have had since the opening round of the season. The side currently sit in seventh place on the ladder.
Tarsha Gale Cup
After conceding three early tries, the Canberra Raiders Tarsha Gale Cup side finished strongly but ultimately suffered a 16-12 defeat against the Bulldogs.
Krystal Blackwell and Holly Jane Christinson were the two try scorer for the Raiders but a hattrick to Canterbury’s Indee Brown proved to be the difference.
The result sees the Raiders finish the round in second place on the ladder.
