QANTAS has opened an extra direct flight from Canberra Airport to Brisbane for Friday's Preliminary Final against the Storm to help ACT residents get to Suncorp Stadium.
ACT residents who have not left the ACT in the past 14 days are able to attend the match on Friday night, with QANTAS doing their bit to help get fans to Brisbane.
The flight will be available later today on www.qantas.com
Raiders CEO Don Furner thanked QANTAS and the Canberra Aiport Group for arranging the flight and helping to get as many fans to Suncorp Stadium as possible.
"We want to thank QANTAS and the Canberra Aiport Group for doing their bit to help our Canberra based ACT fans who are able to travel to Queensland on Friday night," Furner said. "We'd obviously love as many Raiders fans there as possible and this will help get a few more there hopefully."
Tickets for the match are on sale now and selling fast, so if you are looking at getting the flight on Friday please ensure you have a match ticket as they will need to be purchased separately.
