West Belconnen returned to the KFS competition this 2020 season, having not taken part in the last two seasons.
While they were competitive throughout the competition, it was a step up in class for the side this year. West Belconnen didn’t record any wins during the season, and didn’t score any points.
They continued to improve as the competition progressed, with a number of exciting young players coming through the team.
Season Highlight
West Belconnen’s round seven performance showed that they had been working hard and were much improved in the space of seven rounds.
In the opening game of the competition, West Belconnen went down 64-0 to the Queanbeyan Blues. While they lost 38-0 to the undefeated Blues outfit in round seven, their performance was much improved. They fought hard in defence and had a couple of try scoring opportunities.
Kendall Elliot picked up a Best and Fairest point for her performance in the match.
