The Canberra District Rugby League Referees Association is running two more Foundation One referee courses this month.
The courses are for new and beginner referees, and will cover the below topics:
Role of the Referee
Competencies of a Referee
Legal Responsibilities
Code of Conduct
Personality Traits and Qualities of a Referee
Communication
Laws of the Game
Junior League Laws
Safe Play Code
Practical Refereeing
Touch Judging
Tag Rugby League
After enrolling, participants will undertake an online module. They will then need to attend a face to face session to complete the course.
