Huge news for the Green Machine on the eve of the 2021 season, with Hudson Young re-signing with the club until the end of the 2024 season.

Young was on contract with the club until the end of the 2021 season and has signed a three-year extension.

Young has been named to start the 2021 season in the second-row for the Raiders, after an impressive 2020 season which saw him a vital part in the Raiders 17 for all 18 matches after he returned from suspension in round 7.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said Young was a key re-signing this season and looked forward to him developing as a player within the group over the next four seasons.

"Hudson has proven over the last season that he is a player who has matured and has become a big part of the squad," Furner said. "We look forward to him continuing his development and establishing himself in the team moving forward."
