The CRRL understands the interest and concern attributable to the recent reports of the movement of the Victorian person through the NSW regions with COVID and the monitoring of that case and the potential for transmission.
Concerning Goulburn, the areas where potential transmission may have originated from is well known and understood being the Trappers Bakery and the Shell Big Merino complex.
These are exposure locations and we note on the NSW Health advice and ACT Health advice on these areas.
Speaking with the Director of ACT Sport & Recreation this morning, I was advised that there are no restrictions as such on ACT people travelling to Goulburn and that the ACT Health advice is simply for the usual precautions and protocols to be undertaken but no restrictions.
There have been no positive cases since the 19 May or 24 May advice alert as to the exposure locations.
Therefore, the CRRL believes that there is no reason for matches not to go ahead as scheduled on the match days of June 4,5 and 6 at their current locations.
Again, we encourage anyone who has symptoms to be tested and quarantine appropriately.
