The CRRL Committee has unanimously endorsed an updated NSWRL Tough Love in League Policy.

The new Tough Love in League policy will heavily support referees from on-going abuse.

This new policy will commence implementation for ALL Senior and Junior matches played on July 16 2021 and after.

The new policy outlines penalties for offences committed by Players, teams, team officials such as coaches, managers and trainers, spectators and supporters and general club offences.

Apart from suspension and disqualification penalties in all categories, a range of offences will carry loss of competition points.

This policy will run in conjunction with the Offences Points Index currently used primarily for on-field issues and the NRL Code of Conduct for disciplinary measures.

The NSWRL and CRRL are determined to have a positive environment for rugby league in which all players can play and prosper as well as protect our referees and make their retention and recruitment a priority.
