Josh Papalii led from the front as usual in 2021, playing 20 games this season, as well as Origin games two and three.

He started in the front row on 15 occasions, with five games off the bench, with a 96.3 percent tackle efficiency for the season, as well as 2627 total run metres and 547 tackles.

Papalii finished second in the Meninga Medal polling behind Jordan Rapana.

After coming back from an ankle injury and eight months between NRL games, Emre Guler returned to the side in Round 6.

He was a mainstay in the team for the rest of the season, playing all 19 games after his return, including 10 games starting and nine off the bench.

Guler also locked in another two years with the Raiders, extending his stay until the end of the 2023 season.

In his last season in the NRL, Sia Soliola played 17 games for the Raiders in 2021.

Soliola spent most of the season coming off the interchange bench, as well as two games starting in the front row and four games starting at lock.

Soliola finished his professional rugby league career after 17 seasons and 336 matches across the NRL and Super League, including 137 games for the Raiders.

He played three games in the front row early in the season, before being a regular starter during the midway stages of the season. Lui departs the Raiders after 89 matches in green from 2017-2021.

Ryan James started his time at the Raiders in style, scoring a try in his first game in green against the Tigers in Round 1, close to 700 days since his last NRL game.
