Canberra Raiders rising star Michael Asomua’s incredible season on the field has been reflected by his life off the field, thanks to the first Don Furner Senior Scholarship from the Raiders Foundation.
An SG Ball grand final win, a debut for the Raiders NSW Cup team and selection in the Future Blues program have been huge achievements for Asomua, but he also includes finishing year 12 at Erindale College amongst his biggest highlights of 2021.
Thanks to the Don Furner Senior Scholarship Asomua has been able to balance his football with his education, leading to a successful year on and off the field.
