We wish to congratulate Harden Hawkettes League Tag player Emma James for her milestone this weekend, where she will play her 100th game for the club in the George Tooke Shield.
Emma will be the first league tag player within the George Tooke Shield to ever reach the 100 game milestone when the Hawkettes host the UC Stars at McLean Oval this Saturday at 2pm.
This is an outstanding achievement, not only for Emma and the club, but for the entire Canberra Region Rugby League.
The 99 games of Emma's career with the Hawkettes hasn't come without other impressive individual milestones.
Earlier this season, Emma was the first George Tooke Shield LLT player to reach 1000 career points.
Not to mention, Emma has taken out the competition's Best & Fairest award four years running, and was in the box seat to win her fifth straight when the points went behind close doors after round nine this year.
This is such an impressive achievement for Emma and we wish her and the club all the best for what marks an important day in Canberra Region Rugby League history.
