Judiciary: Cotric and Tapine

Nick Cotric and Joe Tapine have both elected to take the early guilty plea following charges from the NRL Match Review Committee.

Cotric will miss one match, while Tapine receives a $3,000 fine.

EARLIER

Nick Cotric and Joe Tapine have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following yesterday’s loss to the Panthers.

Cotric was charged with a grade two careless high tackle on Dylan Edwards from the 41st minute of the match.

As it is Cotric’s first offence, he will miss one match if he takes the early guilty plea or two matches if he is found guilty at the judiciary.

Tapine was charged with a grade one crusher tackle on James Fisher-Harris from the 23rd minute of the match.

As it is Tapine’s second offence, the penalty comes with a $3,000 fine if he takes the early guilty plea or a two game suspension if he fights the charge and loses.
