Canberra Region Wheelchair Rugby League participates in Invictus Challenge

The Canberra Region Wheelchair Rugby League participated in Wednesday morning's Invictus Challenge, supporting Invictus Australia's new $9m government funding announcement.

Invictus Australia yesterday announced the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs has delivered on a $9 million commitment.

This enables Invictus to continue their Adaptive Sports Program for wounded, injured or ill veterans, in partnership with the ADF.

In collaboration with the CRRL's Wheelchair Rugby League inclusion program, this allows our sport to continue to grow and encourage more people to get involved.

The Canberra Region Wheelchair Rugby League is an adaptive, all-inclusive sport that allows athletes with disabilities to compete with and against able-bodied people.

The Canberra Region Wheelchair Rugby League season has re-commenced, running from August right through to December.
