Congratulations to Ryley Thomas of the West Belconnen Warriors for his selection at centre in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
Thomas had an outstanding 2022 season for the West Belconnen Warriors, being a pivotal member in the premiership winning side.
Thomas scored 8 tries in 17 games for the Warriors this season, being a go-to player on the right-edge to score points.
But it was Thomas' defence which solidified his selection.
Ryley adopts an interesting tackle technique but he has perfected it, using his size and strength to become a brick wall on the right-edge for the Warriors.
The Cessnock Goannas junior and former Country representative has had an incredible career at West Belconnen, winning his second premiership for the side in 2022 and shows no sign of slowing down.
At age 27, Thomas brings a world of experience along with some flare to pair Jake Butler-Fleming in the centres in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
