Congratulations to Terry Campese of the Queanbeyan Blues for his selection at five-eighth in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.

Campese had yet another outstanding year for the Queanbeyan Blues, taking out the 2022 Best & Fairest McIntyre Medal for the first time in what was his final season before retirement.

The Queanbeyan captain-coach led the Blues to yet another Canberra Raiders Cup grand final, being the club's fifth grand final appearance in the last seven seasons.

Campese also led the competition in total points scored, crossing for nine tries and converting 68 goals to rack up 172 points on the season.

A stacked resume which spanned well over a decade, the former Raider and Australian representative brought a world of leadership and wisdom to the Queanbeyan Blues.

Campese unfortunately didn't get the fairytale finish he was after, going down 38-24 in the grand final to West Belconnen, but the champion five-eighth has left a strong legacy at his hometown club for the future.

Campese joins a solid 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year, alongside Blues' teammates Parsons & Butler-Fleming.
