Huge home draw for Raiders in 2023

The Raiders 2023 draw has been revealed, with the Raiders set to host 11 huge home matches at GIO Stadium.

The Raiders first Viking Clap of the season will be in round three against the Sharks in a Sunday evening match. The rivalry between the two sides is set to continue after the Raiders secured both clashes in 2022, with the Sharks set to return to Canberra to help open the home season for the Green Machine.

The Raiders next home match is against the reigning Premiers Penrith at GIO Stadium in round five on a Friday evening, before facing off against the Dragons in Round seven on a Sunday afternoon in Canberra.  

In round nine the Raiders will play host the NRL’s new franchise the Dolphins at McDonald’s Park in Wagga Wagga, giving regional fans the opportunity to come along and check out the competitions new team.

The Raiders will also host the Eels, Sea Eagles, Warriors, Titans, Knights, Tigers, Bulldogs and Broncos in 2023 in Canberra.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said the 2023 draw gives members and fans the opportunity to attend a multitude of matches in 2023 and encouraged people to get behind the team and become a club member.

“We’ve got a really good mix of opponents and timeslots for home matches in 2023, with plenty of opportunity to get to GIO Stadium and see us take on some of the biggest names in the NRL,” Furner said. “We’ve already seen over 11,500 people sign up to become club members in 2023 and we encourage all fans of the team to sign up and become members.”
