Congratulations to Liam Oakley of the Tuggeranong Bushrangers for his selection at hooker in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
Liam had an impressive season at dummy-half for the Bushrangers, playing behind a strong forward pack where he was a consistent performer for the south-side club.
The Valley Dragons junior endured his fourth season of first grade at Tuggeranong in 2022, crossing for four tries and kicking 16 conversions.
The crafty number nine is a hard-working dummy half who's a strong defender and dynamic in attack.
Oakley occasionally slotted into the halves which highlighted his versatility this season, which Bushrangers coach Jason Kelly loves in a player.
Liam was rewarded for his form over the past few seasons with selection in the Monaro Colts Open Men's side alongside teammates Zac Saddler and Darby Medlyn earlier this year.
Liam now earns the number nine jersey in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
