Congratulations to Jesse Martin of the Woden Valley Rams for his selection at second row in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.

Jesse had an impressive first season at the Rams, captaining the club to a second-placed finish in 2022.

Martin was one of the biggest signings in the 2021 Canberra Raiders Cup offseason, departing the Bulldogs where he captain-coached for a season, to link up with Woden.

The talented backrower brings a world of experience, having previously played Holden Cup at the Raiders and Sea Eagles, before playing NSW Cup for the Bulldogs.

Martin is a strong, hard-working forward who plays with his heart on his sleeve and always willing to do the hard yards for his team.

He is well-known for running a courageous line and being a hard-hitter in defence.

Jesse scored four tries in 15 games this season, playing both lock-forward and edge backrow for the Rams this season.

Martin has quickly become one of the star forwards of the Canberra Raiders Cup competition and consistently continues to perform week-in week-out for his club.
