NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Round Two Preview

The Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams are both in action at Raiders Belconnen this Sunday as they look to make it two wins from two to start the season.

Tickets to the day are $5, with the Raiders Tarsha Gale and SG Ball Cup teams in action earlier in the day.

NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup team will face the North Sydney Bears this Sunday at Raiders Belconnen after a win against the Eels last week.

The Raiders team will be looking to continue their winning streak this week as they go into the game with only two changes. Lachlan Lewis is out of the side after a knee injury and Jayden Clarkson moves off the bench into starting prop.

The NSW Cup team currently sits fifth after their round one win in a great performance against the Parramatta Eels, winning 16-10.

Meanwhile the North Sydney Bears went down last week losing 18-12 to the 2022 premiership winners Penrith Panthers. They have one team change this week with Ben Seufele out of the side.

The North Sydney Bears will be looking to continue their form from last year after a successful season in which they reached the second week of finals before losing to the Bulldogs.

Kick-off for the match is at 3:45 pm on Sunday 12 March, with the match also live-streamed on NSWRL TV via the NSWRL Facebook page.

Jersey Flegg

The Jersey Flegg team will play the Sydney Roosters at Raiders Belconnen on Sunday afternoon before NSW Cup.

The Raiders are also looking to continue their form from last week after beating the Parramatta Eels in a 20-14 win.

The Raiders currently sit in fourth place under the Roosters, who beat the West Tigers in a 26-16 win.

The Raiders will be hoping to go into this season on a different note after finishing seventh in the regular season in 2022.

Both teams go into the game with only one change each.

The Raiders will bring in Deakin Bright to replace centre Prinston Esera. The Roosters will have Kenny Saad coming into the side on the bench.

The teams will kick off at 2pm at Raiders Belconnen on Sunday.
