Game Day Charity: RSL ACT

Our 50-50 Charity Raffle proceeds from Round 3 will be going to our Game Day Charity, The Returned and Services League of ACT.

Raffle tickets will be available online and to purchase at the game, with 50% of the prize pool going to one lucky winner and the remaining amount (minus processing fees) to the charity.

Donations this round will assist The Returned and Services League of ACT to provide support, network and community for veterans and their families. They play an integral role in connecting veterans to services, developing social networks, enhancing support services, and providing practical support.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online via 5050charityraffle.com.au/raiders and at the game on Sunday evening.

The lucky winner will be drawn in the second half of the NRL Round 3 match, Raiders v Sharks.

Game Day Theme: Multicultural Round

We believe it is our differences that make us stronger as a unit – on and off the field – and these differences deserve to be respected and celebrated.

In Multicultural Round, we celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes Rugby League the greatest game for all.

The Toyota Forklift Raiders have six local Multicultural performers engaged to entertain the Forecourts and during NRL half-time. These include:

Following the match on Sunday, the Raiders NRL team will be handing out some Toyota Forklifts Raiders footballs to the crowd. There are 17 available following each home game, so stick around after full-time and see if you can score one!

Purchasing Tickets

Casual tickets can be purchased via Ticketek: www.ticketek.com.au

Tickets will be available at the gate, however, we strongly encourage everyone to pre-purchase online for ease of entry and to avoid having to wait in queues.

Casual tickets are cheaper to buy than at the gate. 

Conditions of Entry Updates

Many of the stadium Conditions of Entry have been updated, you can find a full list of updates at https://giostadiumcanberra.com.au/ticketing/conditions-of-entry/

Patrons who throw articles or gain unauthorised entry onto the field of play will be evicted and may be liable for prosecution. Fines of up to $8000 apply.

Ticket Assistance on Game Day

Any ticket holder that cannot find their ticket that they purchased via Ticketek can visit the Ticketek Box Office to have their ticket re-issued. Proof of identification will be needed to print off replacement tickets for the day.

Let’s Meet at The Huddle!’

Game days are about to heat up as GIO Stadium Canberra welcomes ‘The Huddle’ - our new outdoor entertainment hub for Raiders game days!

Come pre-game (from gates open) and stay after the game to enjoy delicious snacks, cold refreshments, and quality entertainment.

You’ll find The Huddle located in prime position behind the Mal Meninga Stand on the western side of the venue.

We hope you’ll join us for the first home match on 19 March, when the Raiders take on the Sharks - and, for every Raiders home match this season.

Merchandise Outlets

Raiders Shop outlets will be open on the West Forecourt and South Concourse.

The West Forecourt outlet will be open from gates (2pm) and the South Concourse will be open from 3:30pm.

Both outlets will close at the end of NRL half-time (approx. 7:05pm).

Cronulla Sharks merchandise is available at the East Forecourt.

Membership Enquiries

Any current members with enquiries on the day can visit the membership booth at either the East or West ticket boxes from gates open until NRL kick-off.

Membership Game Day Access

Ticketed Members can use either their digital membership card or physical plastic membership card (if they have purchased one) to scan in at the turnstiles on game day (excluding Flexi 3 members). If you have any issues scanning in on Game Day, please visit our membership staff at the box office. We highly recommend downloading your digital membership card to your phone and saving a screenshot as a back up prior to arriving at GIO Stadium Canberra on game day in case you have internet access issues at the venue.

Parking

Paid parking is in place for this match at $10 per vehicle. Early-bird parking is applicable at $5 per vehicle until 45 minutes prior to NRL kick-off.

Overflow parking is available from 2pm at the University of Canberra accessed via College St and buses will have some capacity to pick up on College St which is a 20 minute walk to/from the stadium. Please consider car-pooling to alleviate traffic congestion as parking will be limited. 

Transport

Victor and Velda are using public transport to get to this week’s game, and you can do the same.
