Congratulations to Canberra Raiders board member and women's rugby league pioneer Katrina Fanning who has been named the 2023 Canberra Citizen of the Year.
Fanning was recognised for her dedication and work for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
In January, she was awarded one of the highest honours at the Australia Day awards, the Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia.
The Raiders congratulate Fanning on her award and for the wonderful work she does.
