NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Round Six Preview

The Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams are both in action at Raiders Belconnen this Good Friday, with the Flegg game kicking off first at 1pm before the NSW Cup game at 2:45pm.

NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side take on the Sydney Roosters on Friday as they look to bounce back this week.

Coming off a tough 24-16 loss to the Panthers last weekend, the Raiders are currently in seventh place on the ladder but are equal on points with the fourth placed Jets. A win this weekend could see the Raiders jump up the ladder.

There have been a number of changes to the team ahead of this Friday's clash.

Michael Asomua and Steve Numambo have each been named on the wing, replacing James Schiller and Jed Stuart.

Harley Smith-Shields and Brad Morkos come into the centres with Jarrod Croker named in the NRL team and Semi Valemei out injured.

Second rower Jordan Martin returns to the side, with Juwan Compain dropping back to the bench.

This week's opponents the Sydney Roosters are one win from four matches to start the season, going down to the Bears last round by ten points.

Kick off for the match is at 2:45pm Friday April 7 at Raiders Belconnen.
