A top four clash between the reigning premiers Yass, and the new-face West Belconnen Warriors, headlines round four of the Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield.
Woden Valley Rams v Harden Worhawks, 10:30am, Saturday 27 May at Phillip Oval
The Rams will look to bounce back at home this Saturday when they take on an in-form Harden outfit.
The Worhawks have been the story of the 2023 KFS season, displaying a huge improvement from previous seasons.
So much so, a win this Saturday could push them into the top four for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, Woden have had a difficult start to their second KFS season, battling injuries right across the park.
But the Rams will welcome back a few this weekend in a crucial clash to kickstart their campaign.
Tuggeranong Bushrangers v UC Stars, 10:30am, Saturday 27 May at Seiffert Oval
The Bushies will travel to Seiffert to take on a UC side who are hungry for their first win of the season.
Tuggeranong are coming off a 22-10 defeat to the hands of Yass in a huge effort for the club.
They will carry plenty of momentum into a clash against UC, who have been struggling to begin the season.
The Stars have battled an early injury plague but will relish the chance to take on a Bushies side who are only two points above them on the ladder.
Yass Magpies v West Belconnen Warriors, 11:50am, Saturday 27 May at Walker Park
The Magpies will host the Warriors at Walker Park in a bid to extend their undefeated streak to 23 straight wins.
This may be their biggest test yet with the new kids on the block, West Belconnen, only conceding 12 points over their opening three rounds in the KFS.
Yass are coming off a real workman-like performance against the Bushies, defeating them 22-10 at home with the bare 13 on the field.
While the Warriors have had a disruptive start, only playing the one full game against Queanbeyan a fortnight ago, after an injury abandoned round one clash and a forfeit last weekend.
This will be an interesting watch with these two clubs meeting for the first time in Katrina Fanning Shield history.
