The Raiders Jersey Flegg side claimed an impressive win over the Rabbitohs on the weekend, while the NSW Cup side suffered a tight loss in round 13 action.

NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side were defeated 26-20 by the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams scored four tries each, with the goal kicking of Rabbitohs halfback Dean Hawkins proving the difference.

The Raiders lead 14-12 at the half-time break after tries to Peter Hola, Jed Stuart and Brad Morkos.

The Rabbitohs leveled the scores at 14-14 after a successful penalty goal before jumping ahead to 20-14 with a try to Peter Mamouzelos and conversion by Hawkins.

Raiders fullback Xavier Savage went over for a four-pointer in the 62nd minute, with Brad Schneider converting to again level the scores, this time at 20-20 with 15 minutes of play remaining.

But it was the Rabbitohs who had the final say, with centre Josiah Karapani scoring and Hawkins converting to give the home side a 26-20 lead with five minutes remaining.

The result sees the Raiders finish the round in sixth place on the ladder, still two points behind third place.
