Belconnen United Sharks 34 d Gungahlin Bulls 32
Belconnen came out on top in what was a high-scoring affair against the Bulls.
Darcy Leadbitter had a standout performance, securing two tries in the winning effort. He is now tied for third on the try-scoring leaderboards with 7 tries.
The win helped secure the Sharks’ position in the top four as they are now tied on equal points with the second-placed Rams.
It was a disappointing finish for the Bulls as they fall to their third consecutive loss.
Woden Valley Rams 46 d Yass Magpies 6
The Rams move to second on the ladder after a convincing victory over the Magpies.
The Rams’ attack took centre stage as the team scored a season-high 46 points.
Standouts Mitchel Souter and Kane Smith both secured doubles in the winning effort.
The Magpies will look to turn around their season next week as they host the Queanbeyan Blues.
Queanbeyan Kangaroos 32 d Goulburn City Bulldogs 10
The Kangaroos were able to hold on to their first-half lead to keep their undefeated bid alive.
Queanbeyan had a dominant first-half, scoring 32 unanswered points.
Captain-Coach Sam Williams highlighted the performance scoring 16 points. Williams continues to lead the competition in points scored with 108.
The Bulldogs will be looking to build on their second-half performance where they held the Kangaroos scoreless.
Queanbeyan Blues 32 drew Tuggeranong Bushrangers 32
In a see-sawing affair, neither team could break the gridlock to secure the win.
The Bushrangers’ strong attack was on display as their captain Liam Oakley scored 12 points in the match.
The Blues were able to keep pace with the Bushrangers’ attack, having one of their strongest showings of the season, featuring a Jack Anderson double.
Queanbeyan will look to continue climbing the ladder as they take on the Magpies next weekend.
