NSW Cup Round 21 Preview

The Raiders NSW Cup side travel to Auckland to take on the New Zealand Warriors tonight at Go Media Stadium.

This match-up will be a battle for fourth on the ladder as both teams enter this game on equal points.

The Raiders will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 24 – 18 defeat to the Sea Eagles last weekend.

The Green Machine have made a couple of adjustments to their lineup in preparation for this round 21 match. Adrian Trevilyan comes into the starting side at hooker with Danny Levi out with a broken jaw.

Ethan Strange has been moved to centre with Prinston Esera replacing him on the wing.

Jayden Clarkson and Toby Thorburn are both recalled into the squad via the interchange.

The Warriors will be looking to return to their winning ways after going down 26 – 18 to the Newtown Jets last round.

The Warriors have adjusted their squad with Viliami Vailea coming into the side as the starting centre for Patrick Moimoi.

Kalani Going and Demitric Sifakula join the starting forward pack with Maia Sands and Jacob Laban getting pushed to the interchange.

The last time these two sides faced off was in round 15 where the Warriors took down the Raiders 34 – 16.

This will be an exciting must-watch game as both teams will be looking to give their all to earn a spot within the top four.

Kick-off for the round 21 match is at 3:30pm (AEST) on Friday July 21 at Go Media Stadium in Auckland, before the NRL clash at 6pm (AEST).
