The CRRL wishes to acknowledge the contribution of licensed clubs in the ACT and NSW over many years and their continued contribution to the community and development of rugby league at both junior and senior level.
NSWRL celebrated Licensed Clubs Round last weekend to acknowledge the valuable contribution that licensed clubs make to community Rugby League every season, including providing more than $50 million in funding last year.
Whilst the CRRL and its constituent clubs have a close relationship with the Raiders group of clubs in the ACT (Mawson, Gungahlin, Belconnen and Weston) and the Queanbeyan Leagues Club there are a number of other clubs that continue to support the local communities.
The Queanbeyan Kangaroos has been a part of the local community since its formation in 1966. An impressive 57 year history with the community.
Other clubs such as the Goulburn Workers club, the Yass Soldiers club, Hellenic club, The Tradies and Eastlake all contribute to rugby league for multiple years.
Then there are the number of other licensed clubs such as bowling clubs that also contribute to the community.
Whilst we cannot name all clubs, the CRRL wants to thank all sponsors and partners that assist the development of rugby league.
