The Canberra Raiders Cup competition has lit up after a weekend of some massive results, with still everything to play for coming into the final three rounds.
Tuggeranong Bushrangers 18 d Queanbeyan Kangaroos 17
The Bushrangers have defeated the Roos 18-17 in a thrilling match, breaking Queanbeyan's impressive undefeated streak.
Tuggeranong were the first ones to put points on the board with an early try to winger Jack Davison in the 14th minute and a try a few minutes later to fullback Jack Heyman.
The two early tries from the Tuggeranong side put them ahead 10-0 early in the game.
But the experienced Queanbeyan side was not holding back putting points on the board from winger Thomas Williams and a powering try to prop Jayden Thomas left the scores level at the half-time break.
Both sides came out ready for a fight in the second half, but the Bushrangers' Jack Heyman was the man that was ready to rip in first, scoring the try to put the Bushrangers ahead.
Queanbeyan second-rower Jesse Dent was able to power through for the Roos to put them even with the Bushrangers at 16-16.
Queanbeyan halfback Sam Williams was thinking on his feet after kicking a field goal for his side, putting them one point ahead in the final ten minutes of the game.
But a late penalty conversion from Liam Oakley saw the Tuggeranong side defeat the Roos side for the first time this season at a packed Greenway Oval.
West Belconnen Warriors 24 d Queanbeyan Blues 18
The West Belconnen Warriors have just held onto the win, defeating the Blues 24-18 at Seiffert Oval.
The game was even with both sides scoring four tries apiece, but the Warriors Brandon Withers' perfect conversion rate was the difference.
The Warriors are now just one point out of the top four, remaining well and truly in the finals hunt.
West Belconnen will now host Yass Magpies in another must win, while the Blues will travel to take on an even hungrier Goulburn side.
Belconnen United Sharks 28 d Yass Magpies 16
The Sharks held onto finals contention defeating the Magpies in a powering 28-16 win.
Belconnen’s George Wood impressed scoring a double in the second half of the game putting the Sharks in front.
The Sharks are currently sitting in third place on the ladder, but the Rams and West Belconnen are just points behind and looking to climb the ladder.
The Sharks will now face the Rams on Saturday at NSWRL HQ in what will be a must-win game if they want to continue their roll into finals.
Goulburn City Bulldogs 50 d Gungahlin Bulls 4
Goulburn have shown that they are still running hot after defeating the Bulls by 46 points.
Bulldogs winger William Russell scored a hattrick for the side in their dominating win.
The Goulburn side are not a complete write off for finals just yet with three games left in the season there is still a chance with the side only two points out of the top four.
Bulldogs will now face the Blues on Saturday in what will be a game that they need to win if they want to hold onto their finals hopes.
While the Bulls will face the top of the table Roos at home, who will be coming off their first loss of the year.
