Goulburn City Bulldogs v Yass Magpies, 11:10am Saturday 12th August at Workers Arena
This will be the first team these two teams go head-to-head since the competition split with only three competition points separating the two.
The fourth-placed Bulldogs will be looking to return to the winner’s circle after consecutive losses to Gungahlin.
The second-placed Magpies are coming off a nail-biting 28 – 24 defeat to the Warriors and will be looking to close in on the top of the competition ladder this weekend.
Gungahlin Bulls v West Belconnen Warriors, 11:50am Saturday 12th August at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval
The first-placed Bulls will be hosting the third-placed Warriors in what will be a clash of the competition's top try scorers.
Bulls’ fullback Caitlin Turnbull leads the competition with 18 tries followed closely by teammate Kayla Fleming and Yass’s Lucy Prosser on 12 tries.
Gungahlin heads into this matchup after a 20 – 8 victory over the Bulldogs last round and will be looking to cement their position at the top of the ladder this weekend.
The Warriors enter this clash in good form after taking down the Magpies 28 -24.
Tier 2
Queanbeyan Kangaroos v Woden Valley Rams, 10:30am Saturday 12th August at NSWRL HQ Bruce
Both teams will be going into this match with the goal to turn around their season.
The Kangaroos enter this game on the back of a disappointing 62 – 0 loss to the Bushrangers but will be eager to earn their first win of the season.
Woden Valley comes into this game with fresh legs after having the bye last weekend. The Rams will be hoping to move into third with a win this round.
Harden Worhawks v Tuggeranong Bushrangers, 2:00pm Saturday 12th August at McLean Oval
The second-placed Worhawks take on the third-placed Bushrangers in what will be a must-watch game.
Harden will be looking to return to form this weekend after falling 44 – 12 to the Blues last round.
The Bushies will be full of confidence after a statement 62 – 0 victory last round against the Kangaroos.
The Worhawks are currently four competition points above the Bushrangers.
