Last weekend saw the inaugural Touch Football ACT All-Abilities Cup played at the Deakin Playing Fields in Canberra.
Teams travelled from Orange, Wollongong, Wagga, the Hunter, and Sydney to play two Canberra teams.
The Canberra teams, who are part of the All-Abilities Alliance Touch Football Club, have been training during the winter season and were excited to try their skills out on their new friends.
All-Abilities Touch Football allows participants of all abilities to develop skills, play touch football, develop confidence, and create new friendships.
The competition was fiercely contested – and for many players it was their first taste of competitive sport.
Winners
Tier 1 – AASC Hunters
Tier 2 – Wagga Vipers
Tier 3 – Hills Hornets
