Team of the Year 2023: Wing
Congratulations to Jack Davison of the Tuggeranong Bushrangers for his selection at wing in the 2023 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
Davison wraps up the TOTY outside backs after his phenomenal year on the wing for Tuggeranong, scoring 18 tries in 15 games and finishing the season as the Canberra Raiders Cup top try scorer.
This achievement came down to the final round of the competition, where he scored four tries against Woden to snatch top spot on the try scoring leader board by one try.
Jack was a main point of attack for the Bushrangers this season and was pivotal in their runners-up campaign.
He scored in most of the games he featured in, with many of his tries being influential on the final result.
Accompanied by his prolific try scoring was his defence, not just his security on the edge, but his ability to use his blistering pace in cover defence, saving tries on many occasions.
Always an exciting player to watch, the CRRL are eager to see what Davison can do in 2024.
