Two of Canberra’s most well-known and community minded organisations will join forces over the next three years, with the Canberra Raiders and CDC forming a new partnership that will see the CDC logo on the Raiders NRL jersey from 2024.

Founded in Canberra by CEO Greg Boorer, CDC is the developer, owner and operator of sovereign, highly secure and connected large-scale data centres across Australia and New Zealand and one of the capital regions greatest success stories.

CDC supports many local community, charitable and sport organisations including Hands Across Canberra, Menslink, Volunteering ACT and Cricket ACT.

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the new partnership was a huge positive for not only the Raiders, but also a huge endorsement for Canberra:

“Our club is proud and excited about partnering with local community champion Greg Boorer and founder and CEO of CDC. Greg and CDC have a proven track record of being one of the most successful and reputable organisations homegrown in Canberra and we will be proud to wear their brand on our jerseys from 2024”.

The CDC logo will fill the sleeve sponsorship property on the clubs NRL jersey range from the 2024 season, with CDC to start featuring on the sleeve of the Raiders NRL jersey from Thursday night’s season opener against the Knights in Newcastle.

“CDC are a huge business success story, and they are rapidly expanding outside of Canberra, so we’re very grateful that Greg and CDC have decided to partner with the Raiders. They could have partnered with other teams outside of Canberra but have chosen to partner with the Raiders and keep supporting their community.”

CDC CEO Greg Boorer said CDC is proud of its history and has a strong commitment to supporting the local community:

“CDC are thrilled to partner with the Canberra Raiders. As a company deeply rooted in our local community, we see this sponsorship as an exciting opportunity to support and uplift our talented athletes and develop an even stronger connection with the community we both operate in.”

“CDC’s partnership with the Raiders celebrates our shared commitment to the Canberra community and its growth and prosperity. Both the Raiders and CDC have a culture focused on high performance and excellence in everything we do. We look forward to championing our shared values and inspiring others to give back”.
